some minor thoughts...

going Germany soon, hope that i am able to catch that flight! coz i have booked the ticket already, just that i will be having my Public Relations mid term quiz on the same day, so the timing is super tight!!! PRay for mi gals!!! haha.... if not, i will be fated to stay in Oslo n spend my recess week studying... T.T

a lot of things haven settle actually... dint study finish for my PR yet! haix.... n i haven pack my bags... A LOT OF UNSETTLED stuff!!! oh ya, i dint bk the hostels in Germany oso, hopefully i can bunk in wif them!!! PRAY HARD!!! @.@

dint get to have proper dinner today oso, coz... my neighbor having some mini party arh, so many Pakistani guys, then i dint go out n cook... it all boils down to a word... LAZY... hahaha....

but i did eat biscuits!! haha.. so im actualli full de... hahaha... (perhaps another way to diet??) :p

Tml we will be having our cultural thingy.. I will be doing palm reading.. excited but at the same time anxious, dunno how it will work out.. haha.. so im doing last min homework now by checkin out the website... haha... hope it helps!!! next time i can read ur palm for u!!! :))) but the thing is, i dint noe wat time to meet.. ahha.. prob check with my fren later... I AM SO DEAD!!!

满天星的夜里

We went to Sogsvanne lake last night! It was around 11pm or 12am when we went. The weather is super cold, guess it was ard 10 plus degree? All i know was the wind was able to sort off past through my bubble jacket! And i could see the mist coming out of our mouth when we were talking! so fun! haha, i guess my favorite activity after coming to Oslo is to blow the mist whenever it turns cold. Rmb that somebody told me to stop doing it as it will cause me to lose my body heat rapidly. But it WAS FUN lookin at the mist coming out of my mouth.. (ok, I'm a bit shua gu) hhahaha....

The amount of stars in the sky is really an overwhelming sight! It will be something that i will never be able to see and admire in Singapore.

As we lied on the floor, all i saw was millions n millions of stars! Some was twinkling brightly, some was just faded... seeing the stars made me realise how fortunate i am to be able to see all this.. And i am under the same big sky as my family in Singapore! haha, there is really no limit in the sky. Just like how we should feel when we are chasing after our dream! Rmbering one convo with mas, I am here just because i am following through the motion of gg to Uni, taking my degree, n pursue what i want to do in my life. She asked me in return, what is it that i want to do. I paused. Suddenly, i felt a pang of shock. Wat i have been wanting to do, is really out of my grasp. Is the unattainable. Big dreams come with bigger disappointment. Maybe all i really need was self counselling therapy.. haha... No matter how i think about it, i suddenly felt that i have lost my aim, my purpose.. (dont worry i wont go and die, juz thinkin about issues that i have not thought of before). i have some short term goals, but once i achieve them, i will feel so lost. Going to have to start dreaming again...

Wonder since when have i stop dreaming, and gave up on big dreams.........

Human species are really weird isnt it?... Some have dreams, but are afraid to chase after it, some have bigger dreams, but have no resources to chase after it. Some have EVEN bigger dreams that they r juz building sandcastles in the air. Some are aimless, dreamless, direction-less. Reality is really a cruel joke, playing us and making us sacrifice our dreams........

Seeking the impossible, nothing is insurmountable.......

In the sea of stars, suddenly, i saw one shooting star! it flew over a long distance! OMG, its beautiful! (sometimes, the more rapid the thing disappear from our lives, the more we will cherish and the more we will feel the importance of the particular thing). Why are we lidat?!?!?... And so, i quickly made a wish... As i laid on the floor, i felt slpy too.. But for the sake of seeing shooting stars, i pried open my eyes! n my effort paid off!!! I SAW ANOTHER ONE! even though the timing for the second shooting star is shorter, the short glimpse of it just make my nite! hahah...

My right knee gt scrapped... this is the second leg tat goes down, so i guess its not tat bad since i can react.. haha.. lucky i saved this knee!! hahahaha...

Ok! so i think ur noe le lah, this is the worse of all.. poor left knee..hahha.. Strangely, it wasnt bleeding a lot instantly, the blood came out bit by bit... lol... it wasnt pain initially too... lucky my frens have Alcohol swap and Bao sheng you... i juz cleanse the wound and apply the Bao sheng you.. nearly cried out when yunkay help mi apply... haha.. Thx to yk, Rayna for distracting mi and MAS for helpin mi source for the medication... if not, i would have suffer a worse injury ba...

A walk by the Sogsvanne Lake...

Went by the lake today, just right after sch to take a refreshing walk...

Have you ever wonder what it is like to walk along the lake, feeling cold and warm at the same time? I totally love this feeling, guess the thing that i will miss the most at my hostel will be the lake. To jog without sweating and getting cold shivering hands is something i will nv be able to experience in Spore.

While walking, i did some reflections too. Like what i want with my life, and the things that have been happenin to me so far.. I still have this surreal feeling about Norway... Sometimes, i don feel real, 觉得不踏实... Don't know how this came over me, probably i still cant believe i am really living on my own now.. Wonder wat it will be like when i move out n live on my own next time... haha.. but at least i have learnt to become more independent... 经一事，长一智....

I cant really say i miss home, its a totally confusing state of mind i Have!!! haha.. I don miss home very much, not sayin i don miss the people back home, just that once here, i think is more of like gettg used to the feeling of having nobody around.. It certainly takes some discipline not to whine.. haha.. even when skyping with my mom... Its interesting how skyping with my mom can actually be so fun.. haha.. coz they ALWAYS ask the SAME QUESTION... lol.. but i seriously don mind, even if they ask a thousand times, i will still answer them...

Things i Have seen in the park:

There are really a lot of joggers! Some professionals, some recreational (like mi, haha). Some ran in pairs, some alone (still like mi.. haha), some ran with their dogs.. The professional ones ran in a group, and when they past me, there will be a *gust of wind blowing into my face.. Super shuang! hahaha....

For walkers, there are young couples walkin hand in hand, chit chatting, talking lovey-dovey-ly.. It is actually quite romantic to walk by the lake with the one that ur heart beats for... so SWEET!

Then there are the old couples... The old man walking in pace with his other half... Sometimes, not everyone can walk in pace with each other, it takes some effort, like how relationship is maintain.. There is no perfect relationship or effortless but fruitful relationship.. No matter how a perfect match they are, everything must be worked for.. Even happiness.. It doesnt come just lidat....It is rare enough to find the one guy willing to stick out through the relationship, it is even harder to find one that will accommodate and compromise.... Esp in this era.... This is what really makes me envy the old couple...

Makes me reflect on my mom n dad though.. haha.. the cute pair who is still not on talking terms... as individuals, they make great people.. But when they come tgt, sparks flew... haha.. i guess what i can hope for now is for them to stay tgt, even though there is no love to speak off... I dont think i will divorce just becoz of a loveless relationship... Doesnt the marriage vows mean anything? How could people divorce just like that? Then what is the point of getting married in the first place? Love shld be an intoxicating feeling ba, i guess.... Shall blog on this when i found the intoxicating feeling.. :)

I also saw friends chatting happily away... i miss the times when i talk crap with my frens.. ahha.. When i go back, i shall EAT TO MY FULL and DO EVERYTHING I DID IN SPORE AGAIN!... N i miss the feeling of sweating while joggin!!!! haha.. im a bit psycho la, but i did miss the sweats!! hahaha...

Sat by the lake for a while.. contemplating a lot of stuff.... Is it true that in Uni, in the same course, u couldnt find a true friendship? No competitions, no ulterior motives, but just plain friends who help each other and support each other?.. Spoken to Deb b4 on this topic and we reach the conclusion tat we r glad we still have our own friends even outside our course... Maybe i shld grow up, n stop relying on friends... HAIX.. but i don want! n i don think i can ever do that.. haha.. ok i admit i am childish!! haha.. but the feeling of being able to rely on friends is really good... be the one supporting your friends is even much better... to know we can both rely on each other to protect each other's back.. this is what friends are for! haha.. on this topic coz of what zibbie told me.. HY actually quit a game cuz TB kana ban by the Dota host.. lol... but then again, is this kind of little actions that will make friendship goes a long way.... to appreciate and to feel appreciated.... But once u have a ground for comparison, this is bad news!! coz u will start comparing ur frens and start to set standards for them.. If they nv reach that standard, they are not really a good fren... The more we expect them to behave the way we want them to, the more we will take them for granted isnt it?...

Seeing the dogs in the park, makes me a bit nostalgic.. Willy shld be behaving itself at home.. though it will pee anywhere n everywhere, but it is still quite adorable ba.. haha.. coz he is unique! The dogs over here are really intelligent! The owner actually played FETCH in the water with them! they will throw the stick into the lake in this kind of cold weather, and they will just run in and fetch it back... CLEVER!! *cheers for them..... but i still like my stupid dog.. haha.. the innocence and the cunning-ness... bet we cant find it in another dog.. hahaha....

Okie guys, i gotta do my work le.. have to start study le ba... T.T after slacking for so long.. need to get my engine started again!!! hahah.. HAVE FUN IN SPORE!!!

In Prague, there's Plague...

haha.. finally gg to blog about my Prague trip....

Upon arriving at the airport, we were clueless about where to go.. All we know is that we will be sleeping in the airport again....

I went walking ard again... ok, Without Telling my frens again!!! I went to explore the airport.. Saw MacDonalds, went to check out the price.. Ok its more affordable than the ones in Oslo.. BUT.. still ex... Saw Subway next.. still way too ex... Finally, I SAW STARBUCK.. one that i haven seen in a longggg longgg time... know tat Mas is gg to be so excited, i went ahead to check out the price... One tall mocha is 105 lidat.. or 115... so is ard Sing dollar $8 plus $9 lidat... ex sia..oh, the tall size is actually their smallest size.. so u can imagine the quality vs quantity... T.T

After i finish exploring the airport, i went back to find them.. Excited abt wat i have found n wanna share with them.. but i could no longer find them in sight.. i walk ard a few times.. i even walk outside of the airport to look for them.. strange.. they r nowhere in sight.... i stand ard for a while, then i saw shiwang n Cherlyn!!! lights of aura shone ard them!! hahaah.. *exaggerating.. ok.. at least im glad i found them.. they were at lvl 2... no wonder i couldn't find them. haha.. they scolded mi too.. i deserved it lah.. haha.. when i met them, they were telling mi Weijun n KuanYee were still lookin for mi.. --> ok this pt im really guilty liao...

then they told mi they were gg to page for mi over the Announcement system.. *then i noe im in deep trouble!!! for causing them so much trouble.... As we were discussing, they suddenly heard my name.... They announced my name over the system.. OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its super paiseh, but im super touched by my frens oso... This is not the first time i gave them such a scare..

this time its more chiam if i went missing, coz i dunno the hotel to go to.. i have nothin except my own documents n money...

ok~~lesson learned: not to wander off myself without telling anyone....

The second day.....after checkin into our hostel(in some ulu ulu place.. hahah, but its near to a lot of grocery shops!! :))) eggcited...)... We proceeded to sightseeing.. But first, we have to find some metro station..

As we were walkin ard, some of them actually stepped on DOGGY sHIT... hahahah... sibei suay.... but this is not the suay-est one... we happily proceeded to the bus stop.. knowing where to go liao, we boarded the bus without buyin any new ticket....

Here comes the super suay-est thing in the Millienium: BUS TICKET OFFICER wanna check our ticket..... I saw it and quickly ask the rest to alight.. prob this is not the smartest move upon reflection... but well, it was critical.....

We nogotiated with the officer that since we r first time offender to let us off a bit.. maybe cheaper or give us a second chance... HE IGNORED AND KEEP SAYING THE TICKET IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR 75MINS... well, i beg his pardon, but im english educated! we all noe we have overshot the duration, but why cant he freakin give us a second chance?!?!?!?! Then he brought us to the policemen, who CHOSE TO STAY OUT OF THE MATTER--> THEY WERE SUPER INDIFFERENCE TO OUR PLIGHT... i guess this whole matter really opens up my horizon to meetg the DIFF kind of ppl.....Prob there were some discrimination as well, since we are all Asians.... --> everyone was sian to the max... to think this kind of thing happen to us on the 1st day of arrival...

No matter how we try to explain, it was futile... Later, he said he is gg to bring us to the police stn.. we went with him.. not wantg to give up so easily.. Becuz the Fine is 700cz, which is ard Sing $59 lidat....i could have invest in a few mac meals.... T.T

At the stn, he threaten us that if they were to call the embassy, the fine will be 7000Cz instead.. @#$%^&*() this is really too much! threatenin the TOURISTs... OMG... i really couldnt forget his face.. no way am i gg to forget his face, if he ever touch ground in Spore, im gg to release my willy on him!!! *but i doubt he has the money to travel in Spore.. May he rot n rot n rot.......

In the end, we gave up n gave in.... To lose our pride is better than losing more money.... we paid the fine n left.......

There is definitely anger... How could they treat us lidat.... without giving any chances.... but i guess, living in Spore has made us takin for granted, thinking that everything we did wrong will be given a second chance.... Sometimes, some matters, juz doesnt have a second chance.... Its the same for the decisions we made in our lives, there is no gg back...

haha, juz take it tat we have used the money to buy an important lesson...Money can be earned back, but it the pride tat cant take it lyin down...

The rest of the Prague journey for first day was cool, the rest went into the castle, while mi mas yl n sw continue to Charles Bridge and the shoppin area!! hahaha... Mas had the shoppin mood tat day, but then we had to go back n meet them on time, thus, mas dint get to shop to her fill.. haha.. but we had the rest of the days......

On the second day, we went more sight seeing...Now we learn the precious lesson, we decided to buy train tickets for every ride..->guess we were quite a big grp tats why they wanna target us... T.T

On the third day, we woke up super early!!! ard 5.45am.. actualli it was yunkay n kuan yee who woke us up.. heheh... we went to take a bus to Cesky krumlov.. the place where i posted postcards.. haha.. be the postwoman of the day!! hahah.. from buying the stamps to chopping the chop.. bao ka liao! hahah... it was an experience....

On the same day. we tried white water rafting.. SUPER FUN!!! the boat we r on, will juz follow the stream of water along the little town... places where there is fast stream, it will be super duper fun coz the boat will have a sudden rapid motion of going down into the water... :)))

Las day was shoppin time!!! woohoo.. the ladies' fav pasttime.... heheheh....

dint buy much except 2shirts.. keke.. n theres a lot of grocery shoppin.. for the food to be brought back to Norway for survival!!! --> a bit exaggerating, but yup.. 4 more months to go nia!!! weee.......
